Clicking any of the trackable review request links in the example text messages and emails will stop follow-up review requests messages from being sent to you because we interpret the link click as the customer having taken action to leave a review. For this example, the trackable review links, when clicked, prompt you to leave a review for the Central Park Zoo on Google. When we send review requests to your customers for your business, the trackable links will direct customers to leave a review for your business on Google.
The second text message we send (the first follow-up review request) in this example series includes a photo overlaid with a personal greeting that once your account is set up, would be a photo specific to your business. It's an optional feature that we can turn on or off for you to help your customers remember you fondly. There is a slightly higher chance of a carrier blocking a text message that includes a photo.
No. We need at least a mobile phone number OR an email for your customer to send a review request but if you have both, we can send them review requests via both text messages and email. We find it's more common for businesses to have phone numbers of customers than emails (plus text messages get higher response rates) so for this example, we made a phone number required and email optional.
If someone replies to a text or email we send on your behalf, we automatically reply back with a personalized message thanking your customer for their reply and also let them know you are not monitoring messages sent from this number or this email, plus we include the best phone and/or email to reach your business at. The exact message can be customized for your business but an example message could look like:
Hi Anna, thanks for the message! We don't actively monitor messages sent to this number, however, we'd still love to hear from you. The best way to reach us is to text Jenny, owner of ABC Nails, at 555-555-5555. Thanks!
